The Duncan Classic
The Duncan Classic is a 9-hole campus wide golf tournament for all tri-campus students. The Duncan Classic is typically hosted at the Notre Dame Burke Memorial Golf Course, adjacent to Duncan Hall. The inaugural Duncan Classic was held on April 13th, 2013 and was an outstanding success for its first year. Over 100 golfers participated in the main competition, with numerous others competing in the separate skill challenges on the putting and chipping greens.
The future and the “Bookstore Basketball” of golf tournaments: Duncan Hall has high hopes and expectations for the Duncan Classic. Taking place every Spring on the eve of the Masters Tournament, the Duncan Classic promises to remain a tradition for many years. Proceeds from the events are donated towards the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
Starting in 2024, the Duncan Classic is being held on the Notre Dame Warren Championship Golf Course as the Burke course is closed for construction.
