Duncan Hall Highlander Highrise
The Highlander Highrise is the best dorm dance on campus, ironically taking place off campus. Father Tom Eckert, CSC—the first Duncan Hall Rector—pioneered off campus dorm dances with the St. Edward's Hall Yacht Dance in Chicago when he was Rector at St. Edwards Hall. After joining Duncan Hall, he decided to create the far superior Highlander Highrise winter formal. Duncan Hall rents out the 99th floor of the Willis Tower (formerly the world’s tallest building) every year for this spectacular event. We charter six coach buses shuttling 300 Highlanders and their guests to and from the Willis Tower in downtown Chicago for our signature dance. It has been a tremendous success and we look forward to more Highrising in the winter!
This event is open exclusively to Highlanders and their invited dates.
