Duncan Hall Highlander Highrise 2016

The Highlander Highrise is one of the best, if not the best, dorm dances on campus, ironically taking place off campus.  Fr. Tom Erkert CSC, the first Duncan Hall Rector, pioneered off-campus dorm dances with the St. Edward's Yacht Dance in Chicago when he was Rector at St. Eds. He continued and raised the tradition at Duncan Hall with the Highlander Highrise. Duncan Hall rents out the 99th floor of the Willis Tower and the 103rd SkyDeck floor every year for this spectacular event.  On February 13, 2016, we chartered six buses with over 320 participants to the Willis Tower in downtown Chicago for our signature dance.  It was a great success and we look forward to more Highrising experiences.
