2016 Recap: Gallery

The Fourth Annual Duncan Classic was schedule for April 9, 2016, but true South Bend Weather, it snowed four inches the morning of the event.  Thus, the 2016 Duncan Classic got postponed to Saturday April 16, 2016.  We had a total of 82 players participated in the Duncan Classic and collected $900 for The Saint Baldrick's Foundation.

This year's individual winner hails from Keough Hall: Residential Assistant Luke Gray shot 36, one over par.  Team Scrambles came down to the "Last Six" Tie Breaker: Dominic Dascoli, Jay LaFave, Gary George, and David Currid shot 30, five under par; Justin Cohen, Andrew Stineman, Connor Willis, and Adam Mallette also shot 30. However, Team Dascoli went 20 over the last six holes while Team Cohen shot 21.  Duncan Highlanders won the Team Scramble Play!

A new tradition this year, Duncan Hall hosted the first annual Mini Putt-Putt Challenge in the hallways of Duncan on Wednesday April 6, 2016 and 52 people weathered the storm to participated in the event, which collected an additional $106 for our charity.  Between the Duncan Classic, Mini Putt-Putt, and donations, Duncan Hall raised over $1100 for Saint Baldrick's Foundation in 2016.

2015 Recap: Gallery

A total of 120 golfers participated in the Third Annual Duncan Classic this year.  We raised nearly $1,000 for the Saint Baldrick's Foundation and the proceeds were given to The Bald and The Beautiful as part of the University's charitable donation to Saint Baldrick's.

Unfortunately, Duncan Highlanders did not win our tournament. The individual champion was Brendan Mulshine (+6) and the Team Champions were Kevin Culligan, Brian Severyn, Tom Taylor, and John Rydburg who shot 5 under par in best ball play.

Thank you to all those who made the Duncan Classic a success and we look forward to hosting it again next year! Hopefully with the same perfect weather we had this year.
